Substitute Paraprofessionals Needed
The Mahwah School District is hiring substitute paraprofessionals for the school year, offering flexible schedules, with the ability to choose preferred days & locations. Once board approved, the substitute will become available to work on a substitute basis, in each of the six district schools, with a need to fill various time blocks. Duties include but are not limited to: 1:1 student supervision, lunch/recess supervision, office assistance, and classroom supervision.
Requirements:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, and staff members, both verbally and in writing. Experience working with children. Must present Mantoux Tuberculin TB Test reflecting negative results. Must be fingerprinted via the NJDOE office of Student Protection. If you have never been fingerprinted by the NJ Office of Student protection, please upload a note/document acknowledging you will do so upon hire to fulfill the criminal history application requirement.
Hourly Rate: $18 per hour. Benefits:
