The Mahwah School District is hiring substitute paraprofessionals for the school year, offering flexible schedules, with the ability to choose preferred days & locations.
Position Profile:Once Board approved, the substitute will become available to work on a substitute basis, in each of the six district schools, with a need to fill various time blocks. Duties include but are not limited to: 1:1 Student supervision, Lunch/recess supervision, Office assistance, and Classroom supervision.
Requirements:- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, and staff members, both verbally and in writing
- Experience working with children
- Must present Mantoux Tuberculin TB Test reflecting negative results
- Must be fingerprinted via the NJDOE office of Student Protection
$18 per hour
Benefits:This is a non-benefits-eligible position and is a substitute position based on need.
