- Permanent position for a Mechanical Engineer to create design drawings for production and sales.
- Work with manufacturing and quality control for product development and manufacturing.
- Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.
- Design machine components and tools.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA).
- Estimate and quote jobs including sourcing and pricing of supplier materials.
- Calculate estimates of material needs required for each job.
- Quote and gain approvals for job costs.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOM) in ERP System.
- Communicate with customers and vendors.
- Work with a team to develop systems for fixing design and manufacturing issues.
- Manage time, supplies, personnel, and budget.
- BS Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with industrial manufacturing operations.
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Knowledge of welding AutoCAD symbols.
- Experience with cost estimation for projects and materials.
- Good communication skills to understand and communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- US Citizenship required due to control export regulations.
