Job Responsibilities

Permanent position for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to create design drawings in a manufacturing environment.
Work with the manufacturing and quality control departments for product development.
Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.
Design machine components and tools.
Perform finite element analysis (FEA).
Estimate and quote jobs including sourcing and pricing of supplier materials.
Calculate estimates of material needs required for each job.
Quote and gain approvals for job costs.
Create Bills of Materials (BOM).
Communicate with customers and vendors.
Work with other members of the mechanical engineering team to develop systems for fixing design and manufacturing issues.

Qualifications

BS Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with industrial manufacturing operations (at an entry level).
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (2D is required).
Experience using AutoCAD software.
Experience with cost estimation for projects and materials.
US citizenship is required due to regulations.
