Project Engineer, Quality Engineering

The Project Engineer will support the Accessories Engineering team and be responsible for evaluating and delivering exterior accessory products under a licensing and partnership model. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, supplier test reports, compliance requirements, product validation, engineering release, and sign-off activities.

• Identify accessory products from the strategy team.
• Define engineering and regulatory requirements.
• Review supplier test, validation, and compliance documentation.
• Perform risk assessments related to safety, durability, and compliance.
• Evaluate product fit, function, and performance.
• Identify failure modes and testing requirements.
• Develop commodity plans and manage suppliers.
• Support engineering release and change management activities.
• Complete testing, validation, and engineering sign-off.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive component/system development and delivery.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of automotive safety, homologation, certification, and compliance requirements, especially for the North American market.

• Knowledge of engineering release and change management systems.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with problem-solving methodologies.
• Familiarity with:
