Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.

Experience with mechanical equipment, machinery, and manufacturing processes. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Knowledge of engineering principles, mechanical systems, and quality standards. Ability to analyze technical data and make sound engineering decisions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CAD software is a plus.

Job Summary:

Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical and electromechanical equipment and systems. Support the fabrication, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment. Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to improve performance and eliminate recurring failures. Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and industry requirements.

Support facility mechanical systems, including heating, gas, water, steam, and related utilities. Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Prepare engineering documentation, reports, and technical recommendations. Follow company safety policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
