Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and validate HL7 interfaces to ensure seamless integration with EMR and third-party systems
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, service engineers, and internal stakeholders
- Troubleshoot complex interface, networking, and communication issues involving Mindray devices and hospital systems
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to drive corrective actions and improve product performance
- Document technical processes, interface specifications, and support resolutions
- Represent the Service Department in cross-functional project teams for new and existing products
- Manage assigned projects according to department schedules and provide timely progress updates
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS/IS/IT, or related technical field
- Experience with HL7 messaging standards (e.g., ORU, ADT, MDM) and EMR or interface engine integrations
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and network troubleshooting
- Proficiency with Windows OS, system diagnostics, and general computer hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with programming or scripting (Python preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Customer-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
- Occasional travel required
