Senior Engineering Technician - Onsite

Provides technical support to engineers and scientists on various technical tasks. Develops and recommends procedures, prepares technical reports, and performs evaluations to determine root causes and corrective actions. The role requires knowledge acquired through experience, education, or training, with clearly defined procedures and guidelines. Candidates should have a good understanding of processes, procedures, and systems related to the tasks, typically requiring at least 3 years of experience.

Essential functions include:

• Conducting wear testing and characterization of prosthetic joint implant materials using state-of-the-art joint wear simulators and analytical techniques such as white light interferometry and CMM.
• Test administration, including setup, operation, and data collection.
• Material characterization using techniques like WLI and CMM.
• Maintaining test equipment and laboratory supplies.

Role requires individuals to be 100% on-site.
