Equipment Operator – Inventory Management
The Equipment Operator – Inventory Management is responsible for supporting daily Inventory Management operations by safely operating warehouse equipment and assisting with product movement, receiving, putaway, replenishment, cycle counts, inventory organization, and warehouse flow.
This position plays a key role in ensuring inventory is moved, stored, counted, staged, replenished, and organized accurately, safely, and efficiently in accordance with Quick Box standards, client requirements, and operational procedures. Duties may vary by site, department, client account, and business needs, but may include operating forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other approved equipment to support inventory accuracy and warehouse productivity.

Job Functions:Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, reach trucks, and other approved warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.Receive verbal and written instructions from leadership regarding daily Inventory Management priorities.Obtain product from racking, pallets, bins, shelves, staging areas, dock areas, or other assigned warehouse locations.Move, stage, replenish, put away, organize, and relocate product to support daily warehouse operations.Organize inventory, product locations, storage areas, and warehouse space to support inventory accuracy and operational flow.Repack, reorganize, consolidate, and restage product in storage areas, pick locations, and inventory locations as needed.Inspect pallets, cartons, product, and inventory for defects, damage, incorrect locations, or other concerns.Support proper replenishment, putaway, dock-to-stock, and product movement procedures.Assist with unloading, receiving, staging, and organizing incoming trucks and inbound inventory.Examine incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, condition, documentation, and proper handling.Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in appropriate locations.Use RF scanners, warehouse systems, inventory reports, and related tools to complete assigned tasks.Enter or update inventory information in the Warehouse Management System as required.Perform cycle counts of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, non-conforming materials, and other assigned inventory.Use warehouse systems and reporting tools to process cycle counts and review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.Verify product information, including SKUs, quantities, lot numbers, expiration dates, locations, and other inventory details as applicable.Ensure materials are stored in proper locations and conduct searches to locate misplaced, misclassified, or missing inventory.Open cartons, bundles, pallets, and other containers to count items and verify quantity on hand.Report inventory discrepancies, overages, shortages, damaged product, receiving concerns, or equipment concerns to leadership in a timely manner.Assist with researching root causes of inventory discrepancies and communicate findings or process improvement ideas to leadership.Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehouse procedures, inventory flow, equipment usage, safety, and productivity.Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and organized work area at the end of each shift.Follow all company policies, warehouse safety procedures, GMP expectations, equipment safety requirements, and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.Support sanitation, security, and safety expectations within the warehouse.Support other warehouse functions, departments, client accounts, or operational priorities as needed based on business volume and site needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications Mandatory:
Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, receiving, inventory control, equipment operation, replenishment, putaway, or related experience.Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, order picker, reach truck, and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.Ability to complete required equipment training and follow all equipment safety procedures.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions…
