Audio Visual Installation Engineer

Overview

Audio Visual Installation Engineer role at Unified Support based in Maidenhead. We are looking for an experienced corporate AV Installation Engineer to plan, test, install, and service Audio-Visual equipment for various job sites and clients. The engineer will interpret project plans, participate in project delivery within agreed timescales, and act as a liaison between engineers and clients to communicate progress and issues.

The role includes post-implementation fault finding, testing, and repair of AV equipment.

Pension:

Onsite Work – 90%

• Rack builds, Audio Visual and Video Conference installation and configuration
• Communicating with customers and site contacts
• Adherence to site rules, procedures, and Health & Safety
• Communicating job progress to the Project Manager and Resource Planner
• Site cleanliness
• Completion of all project documentation and sign‑offs
• Configuring, diagnosing, and firmware updates of videoconferencing codecs and AV hardware
• Fault finding and testing Audio-visual equipment

In-office – 10%

• Installation preparation of tools, equipment, consumables, and installation documentation
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of consumables/materials in the workshop
• Van and cable monthly checks
• Timesheet and expenses submission
• Personal development plan and applicable training
• Awareness of Management Software and Quality Policy
• Product research and development for client requirements
