Multi Trade Apprentice

An exciting opportunity to join Housing Solutions as a Multi Trade Apprentice, under a fixed term 24 month contract while completing a Level 2 Property Maintenance qualification. While completing your apprentice you will be working in our friendly and professional DLO team and supporting the provision and delivery of an efficient repairs and maintenance services to the residents of around 7,500 homes in Maidenhead and the surrounding area via our own in-house repairs team.

This apprenticeship offers a strong introduction to property maintenance, giving you the chance to work across a variety of building types while learning from experienced professionals. While completing the Property Maintenance qualification, you’ll develop a solid understanding of planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety regulations, building systems, and environmental standards. The property maintenance apprenticeship provides hands‑on experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical isolation, plastering, decorating, tiling, flooring, roofing, and drainage repairs.

Alongside the technical skills, you’ll learn how to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, record information accurately, and work in a sustainable and professional way. By the end of the programme, you’ll be confident in fixing basic faults and understanding how your work contributes to the wider organisation.
