Are you an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician looking for a dealership that values your technical expertise and offers an excellent work-life balance?
We're looking for a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to join a busy Main Car Dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys fault-finding, complex diagnostics, and working with the latest vehicle technology. If you're a Master Technician or have advanced diagnostic skills, a higher salary will be considered for the right candidate.
What's in it for You?
·£37,000 - £38,000 Basic Salary
· OTE of £45,000

· Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
· 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm (Paid as Overtime)

The Role
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you'll be the workshop's technical specialist, diagnosing complex faults and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults
· Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
· Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standard
· Supporting workshop technicians with technical guidance and complex fault diagnosis
· Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
· Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
· Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
· Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets
About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
· NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
· Extensive experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, or Master Technician
· Exceptional fault-finding and diagnostic skills
· Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
· Mazda or Honda experience would be highly desirable, although other manufacturer backgrounds will be considered
· MOT Licence beneficial but not essential
· Full UK Driving Licence
· A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to delivering first-time fixes
