Job Description & How to Apply Below

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering great service and being part of memorable events, this is an opportunity to build your experience within a professional and supportive hospitality team.

Who We Are

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is part of the global Aimbridge Hospitality family. Our story is grounded in people.

We partner with some of the world’s leading hotel brands, including Hilton, IHG, Accor and Marriott, operating across a diverse portfolio of destinations and properties. What sets us apart is how we bring those brands to life through our people, our culture and our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

At the heart of everything we do is a people-first approach. We believe in creating an environment where individuals are supported, developed and given the opportunity to grow.

About the Role

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, delivering great service and contributing to the smooth running of events.

As a Conference and Events Assistant, you will play an important part in ensuring that every event runs to a high standard, from initial set up through to delivery. Whether supporting weddings, corporate functions or private events, you will help create a positive and professional experience for guests and clients.

This is a great opportunity to build your experience in hospitality, develop your confidence and gain exposure to how events are delivered within a busy hotel environment.

The Role

In this role, you will contribute directly to how events are delivered, how guests experience the space and how the team works together to achieve high standards.

You will support the preparation and running of conferences and events, including setting up rooms, serving food and beverages, and ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard. You will respond to guest requests throughout events, helping to create a smooth and enjoyable experience.

You will work closely with colleagues across the hotel, supporting communication between teams and ensuring that each event runs efficiently. You will also maintain clean and organised work areas, following health and safety standards at all times.

Success in this role looks like consistently well-delivered events, positive guest feedback and growing confidence in handling a range of event @types and service situations.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and takes pride in delivering good service.

You will be comfortable working as part of a team, supporting colleagues and communicating clearly throughout shifts. You will be organised and able to manage your time effectively, even when the pace increases.

Attention to detail is important, as well as the ability to respond to guest requests in a professional and helpful way.

A passion for hospitality and creating a positive experience for guests is essential. Previous experience can be helpful, but just as important is your attitude and willingness to learn.

You will also be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.

What You Can Expect from Us

We know that people do their best work when they feel supported, recognised and valued, and that is exactly what we aim to create at Aimbridge.

As part of the team, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • Industry leading training and leadership development opportunities
  • Hotel discounts portfolio wide
    - Staff rates and up to 50% discount on food and beverage and spa
  • Access to Stream
    - Stream up to 40% pay as it is earned and set automatic savings to support your financial wellbeing
  • 24/7 access to our employee assistance programme
  • Career and lifestyle breaks - allowing you to take time off for key life events
  • Uncapped incentives to reward you for your contributions
