We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical works on a commercial new build project. This freelance role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, proven commercial project experience, and a commitment to delivering high quality installations safely and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all on-site electrical activities, including supervising electricians and subcontractors

* Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with electrical drawings, specifications, and design documents

* Conduct regular site inspections and oversee quality control across all installation works

* Coordinate and communicate effectively with other trade managers, the Project Manager, and Site Manager

* Ensure full adherence to health & safety regulations, including RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work

* Review and sign off electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

* Monitor progress, highlight risks or delays, and implement corrective actions where required

* Support snagging, defect resolution, and preparation of handover documentation

* Maintain accurate daily and weekly site records, including reports, timesheets, and materials monitoring

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor role

* Proven experience overseeing electrical works on commercial or industrial projects

* Valid ECS Gold Card

* SSSTS qualification

* Full UK driving licence
