Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
No Weekends

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our established and growing independent garage in Maidstone.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys being part of a friendly, close-knit team.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Performing maintenance and repair work to a high standard
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
• Supporting workshop colleagues when required

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to delivering high standards of workmanship
