Painter and Decorator
Location:
HMP East Sutton Park, ME17 3DF
Salary: £30,656.92
Contract:
Permanent, 39 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP East Sutton Park, a Category D Female prison. As a Painter & Decorator you will work alongside experienced colleagues across a range of trades, contributing to a safe, nurturing and secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
Key qualifications:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating, or equivalent (or significant experience in a similar role)
- Experience working as part of a maintenance team
- Honest and reliable character, capable of working with purpose and pace
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills
