MOT Technician

Our client, a reputable franchise main dealer in Maidstone, Kent, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their established service team. • Basic salary up to £42,000, dependent on experience
• Uncapped OTE of £60,000+
• Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 – 17:00, with 30 minutes lunch
• One in three Saturdays, 08:30 – 14:00

• Conducting servicing, diagnosis, and repairs to a high standard
• Communicating effectively with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
• Providing technical advice to customers when required
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge
• Ensuring high levels of customer service, contributing to customer loyalty
• Upholding excellent housekeeping and workshop standards
• Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken

• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
• Level 2 qualifications considered under certain circumstances
• Current MOT licence
• Friendly, approachable personality with strong organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure as the MOT Technician
• Attention to detail and quality awareness
• Full UK driving licence
