As a member of Golding Homes' Repairs and Maintenance (R&M) team, the Decorator/Damp & Mould Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents.

This role is focused on delivering high-quality remedial and decorative services, primarily addressing damp and mould issues in both occupied and void properties.

The Decorator/Damp & Mould Specialist will work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and residents to provide a responsive and effective service, adhering to Golding Homes' values and customer-focused standards. Through their expertise, they will contribute to maintaining Golding Homes' reputation for excellence in property care and tenant satisfaction.

More about you. What can you bring?

Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or a minimum of NVQ level II or its equivalent i.e. relevant City & Guilds Basic Craft Certificate.

You'll have a minimum of 3 years' Decorating/Trade experience working in the building maintenance industry.

You'll have experience of working from verbal and written instructions, including drawings, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment where appropriate.

Experience working in occupied and void properties and delivering exceptional customer service.

When and where you'll be doing it

You'll enjoy a 40-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £34,000 dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience.

Golding Homes have properties throughout Maidstone and the surrounding area. This role will allow you to travel around our properties, meaning no two weeks will be the same! What's more, you'll become a permanent member of the Golding family, offering you real job security.
