Accounts Payable & Recon Clerk

Overview

Sunday River Skiway is looking for an Accounts Payable/Recon Clerk to join our Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will need to be a detail-oriented, problem solver and demonstrate proficiency with numbers. The AP Clerk will be in contact with individuals both internal and external of the Organization. The applicant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines established by the Accounting and Corporate Team.

This position will report to the AP Manager.

• Process all payment requests in a timely manner including all vendor invoices and employee reimbursements through the Accounting and PO system.
• Maintain relationships with various internal and external customers and team members to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Filing and opening daily mail.
• Processing weekly check run, and mailing payments timely.
• Reconciling vendor statements to the Accounting System.
• Verify sales and receipts for point-of-sale locations for all resort locations.
• Verify all discount and complimentary products by ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting all discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Associate degree in a business-related field preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have 2 years of related experience.
• A combination of education and work experience may fulfil the above requirements.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Accounting software a plus.

• Wage range of $2 2 to $2 4 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
