Accounts Payable​/Benefits Specialist

Provides administration of all aspects of accounts payable services for RSU 16. This position is part of the financial and operational team whose purpose is to support effective budgeting and budget management, information processing, fiscal planning and administration project management, and accounting practices.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in accounts payable, payroll, benefits administration, or office accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, vendors, insurance providers, and community members.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Proficiency with accounting, payroll, spreadsheet and office software systems.

Hourly Rate: $27.30-$32.11 depending on experience.
