We now strengthen our Group Finance function and are looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to be part of developing our working methods in an international environment.

About the role

As a Senior Accountant, you become an important part of our Group Finance function, with a focus on ensuring quality and efficiency in our working methods across several countries. The role is suitable for you who have experience from a larger international organization and now want to combine operational responsibility with the opportunity to influence – not just by working in existing structures, but by actively contributing to their further development.

You work both hands-on with ongoing accounting and closing work, while also being involved in driving the work to harmonize, streamline, and create scalable working methods in line with our continued growth.

You become a part of a cross-border accounting team consisting of 6 members led by the Team Leader for Group Accounting, with colleagues in both Sweden and Norway. The team works closely with our Shared Service Center in India, which means an international working environment where collaboration, coordination, and clear processes are central – where you have an important role in creating structure and clarity across borders.

Your responsibilities

· Own and execute closing processes monthly, quarterly, and annually with high quality and precision

· Manage qualified accounting issues and ensure correct accounting in an international environment

· Develop and document effective working methods and routines for accounting and reporting

· Collaborate closely with controlling, compliance, and operations to ensure effective flows and high data quality

· Drive and coordinate mergers and company amalgamations from an accounting and process perspective

We welcome you to have:

· Diligent experience in qualified accounting or auditing, preferably in a role as Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, or similar

· Experience from a Group Finance function in accounting in a larger international organization and familiarity with complex structures and processes

· Good knowledge of relevant regulations, such as IFRS and K3

· Documented experience of closing and group reporting

· System interest and good habit of working in ERP systems as well as Excel, with curiosity for new technology and AI-driven working methods

· Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have experience of company integrations in connection with acquisitions.
