Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant
Sunday River is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant to join our accounting team. This position reports to the Vice President and Controller and requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating with multiple departments across the resort. Key responsibilities include reconciling group, leisure, and conference billings with a high degree of accuracy, working across multiple systems to support billing processes, maintaining organized invoice records, and performing daily account reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Reconcile all Group, Leisure, and Conference billings - must be timely and accurate
- Work with multiple departments and systems for billing purposes
- Maintain file of all group invoices
- General Accounts Receivable
- Verify daily room rates are at or above floor rates
- Generate daily SMS upload
- Daily Reconciliation of clearing accounts
- Review daily refund and package adjustment requests
- Generate monthly rental income statements & checks
- Invoice data entry for association accounting
- Post HOA & Property Tax payments
- Assist with summer cash room operations and deposits
- Work weekends and some holidays as business dictates
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Associate degree in a business-related field preferred
- The ideal candidate will have 2 years of related experience
- A combination of education and work experience may fulfil the above requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience with General Ledger software a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage range of $25 to $29 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
