Role Description

The Accounts Payable Administrative Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lincoln, AL. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policies. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, resolving invoice discrepancies, communicating with vendors and internal departments, and assisting with account reconciliations. The role also involves supporting general administrative processes such as filing, data entry, and documentation control to keep financial and operational information organized.

The Accounts Payable Administrative Staff collaborates closely with finance and operations teams to support efficient and compliant financial workflows.

Qualifications
  • Strong administrative skills in Administrative Processes, including document management, data entry, and workflow organization.
  • Proficiency in Invoicing and Finance activities, such as invoice verification, payment processing, and basic account reconciliation.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work on-site in Lincoln, AL and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Preferred skills with accounting or ERP software (e.g., JD Edwards, Hubble)
  • Must have standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word) is preferred.
  • Must have experience in accounts payable or general accounting support.
  • Associate's or higher degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
