- Location 1267 Poland Spring Road,Casco, ME, 04015,United States
- Prepare journal entries and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
- Manage vendor setup, W-9s, TIN verification, and 1099 classifications
- Review corporate credit card activity
- Process customer refunds and bad debt schedules
- Assist with credit card disputes, gift cards, and petty cash
- Provide backup support to Accounts Payable as needed
- Prepare annual 1099 reporting and unclaimed property filings
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Partner with Finance and IT on automation initiatives
- Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related finance functions
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
