POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules for the organization to ensure alignment with Client timelines and optimal resource utilization. This role supports operational efficiency by managing scheduling activities, tracking project milestones, and ensuring accurate, timely communication. The Project Scheduler partners closely with internal teams, field personnel, and Clients to support HRST’s commitment to delivering high-quality work with integrity and dependability.

Essential

Functions
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in accordance with Client requirements and internal workflows.
  • Coordinate seasonal scheduling of Inspection and Field Services teams to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Track project progress and timelines; communicate adjustments as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Engineers, and department leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensures schedule information is accessible, accurate, and communicated proactively
  • Monitor project timelines to proactively identify risks, delays, or resourcing issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact for scheduling inquiries from Clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Generate scheduling reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflow or improve resource utilization and bring forward solutions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, project coordination, or administrative support—preferably within engineering, inspection, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools, project management software, or database/ERP systems, such as Net Suite and/or Primavera.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a supportive, solutions-oriented mindset when navigating challenges or high-pressure situations.
