Location: Andover

Our client, a reputable, family-owned independent car dealer group established across the Southwest and the Home Counties, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for their West Oxford dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to develop their career in a busy, well-respected dealership environment.

The successful Vehicle Technician will join a dedicated team, working on a wide range of vehicles with the support of manufacturer-accredited training programmes.

Duties
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle faults, report findings to the Workshop Controller, and carry out necessary repairs effectively
  • Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards, with adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of all workshop tasks within the designated hours
  • Support team objectives by working collaboratively and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and communicate vehicle conditions clearly
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or similar qualification)
  • At least 1-2 years of practical experience in a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
  • UK driving licence
  • MOT Smart Card holders are advantageous but not essential
  • Strong team player with a committed and motivated approach
  • Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy dealership setting
  • Focused on achieving targets and delivering excellent customer service
