Our client, a reputable, family-owned independent car dealer group established across the Southwest and the Home Counties, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for their West Oxford dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to develop their career in a busy, well-respected dealership environment.
The successful Vehicle Technician will join a dedicated team, working on a wide range of vehicles with the support of manufacturer-accredited training programmes.

- Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am to 12:30pm), paid as overtime
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults, report findings to the Workshop Controller, and carry out necessary repairs effectively
- Ensure all work is completed to high quality standards, with adherence to health and safety regulations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of all workshop tasks within the designated hours
- Support team objectives by working collaboratively and maintaining a positive attitude
- Keep accurate records of work completed and communicate vehicle conditions clearly
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or similar qualification)
- At least 1-2 years of practical experience in a workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
- UK driving licence
- MOT Smart Card holders are advantageous but not essential
- Strong team player with a committed and motivated approach
- Ability to produce high-quality work consistently in a busy dealership setting
- Focused on achieving targets and delivering excellent customer service
