Job Functions:

Vulcraft of New York, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager located in Chemung, NY. The responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers
• Oversee and manage all activities associated with assigned projects from start to finish
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering documents, and shop orders
• Proactively identify potential issues or delays, and communicate effective, cost-conscious solutions
• Deliver exceptional service through professional, clear, and responsive communication (both written and verbal) with internal teams and external customers
• Serve as a key liaison to ensure seamless communication between customers, project teams, and internal departments
• Take full ownership of projects, demonstrating accountability and a results-driven mindset in all aspects of the role Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Compensation Data:
The starting base weekly salary for this role ranges from $1,459 to $1,862 depending on education and prior experience. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation, including a division based ROA (Return on Asset) bonus (10 year divisional average of 19.12% of eligible annual earnings) and enterprise profit sharing bonus (10 year average of 14.14% of eligible annual earnings split between cash and 401k contributions).

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• Competent with Microsoft Office software programs.
• One or more years of experience in the steel joist and deck industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Personally demonstrate the values that make up the Nucor culture.
• Project coordination or project management experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two or more years of construction industry experience.
