Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Wash Bay teammates ensure our trucks & trailers are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. The current opening is for Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6:30am, Sunday:
Day Shift. Days off will be Friday & Saturday. Wash and clean the exterior and interior of trucks using pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents Inspect trucks for damages and report any issues to management Maintain wash bay area and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow all safety procedures and guidelines All other reasonable duties assigned by supervisor Compensation: $22.29 per hour + $1.00 shift differential + Annual ROA Bonus ROA Bonus ROA Bonus percentage is variable, determinate upon company performance each year, up to 33% of annual salary.

(Current average at C.H.I. is 33%) Profit-Sharing 10% of Nucor’s pre-tax earnings are contributed to the Profit Sharing Plan annually and distributed to all eligible teammates. A large portion is deposited into your profit-sharing account, and a smaller portion is distributed in cash. Current 6-year average = 19.88% of your eligible earnings. Eligible earnings include regular pay, overtime, and bonus.

Minimum Qualifications:

1 year experience in general labor Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in trailer shop work or wash bays Valid CDL driver's license
