Overview

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining positive account relationships by functioning as an in-office customer service contact in order to meet customer expectations and increase profits.

• Works directly with customers or through 3rd party teams to ensure adequate production levels of product are present or scheduled for customer needs.
• Works directly with customers and in-house production and transportation management to coordinate order fulfillment.
• Contact customers in accordance with proposed schedule and resolves concerns and problems.
• Inspects product quality and monitors inventory levels.
• Conducts price comparisons and communicates information as required.
• Assists in the resolution of production scheduling conflicts.
• Assists in resolving accounts receivable problems and opportunities.
• Prepares various reports and maintains records as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Minimum of an associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications.
