Drafter

Our well-established Southern Maine client is seeking a Drafter to design high-quality solutions that meet their client’s needs. This full-time, direct-hire role offers solid, reasonable benefits and the opportunity to grow!

• Interpret architectural documents and sales order information to create quality submittal packages for client approval
• Coordinate review meetings to go over drawing updates prior to client submittal
• Create BOMs for manufacturing parts
• Construct installation drawing packages
• Work with engineering to provide ETO solutions and assist with part drawings and item creation
• Perform site visits to collect field information
• Work on multiple projects concurrently

• 2 or 4 year technical degree and/or 5+ years of experience
• Drafting experience in a manufacturing environment or other technical field is desirable
• Strong analytical skills and computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Inventor
• Construction industry and building code familiarity
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural prints
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet quality standards in a busy, fast-moving, and target-driven environment
