Opportunities for additional shifts in spring
24-hour solo coverage with on-site sleeping amenities
Support from Anesthesia and General Surgery
Practice Setting
Inpatient hospital setting
Care for all ages, including pediatric and emergent cases
Average daily census of 14
Schedule
24-hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM
Typically 12-15 hours on-site with night hours primarily on call
Opportunities for informal evening rounds
Cases and Procedures
Vent Management, Central Lines, Lumbar Puncture
Paracentesis/Thoracentesis, Intubations
Proficiency in all procedures required
Requirements
Board Certified in Hospital Medicine
Must hold Maine state licensure or be open to IMLC
PALS certification necessary
