We invite a confident Family Physician to join an established and financially secure rural health center (FQHC) with 50 years of successful operation. This nonprofit runs practices in 7 towns providing primary care, urgent care, mental health, dentistry, podiatry, physical therapy and more, serving thousands of patients across a large section of central/northern Maine.

J1/H1b visa holders and NHSC Scholars are encouraged to apply. Join the busy primary care team and enjoy a rewarding outpatient-only practice caring for patients of all ages many of whom are uninsured or underinsured. This full time position comes with a convenient weekday schedule (40 hours) with no nights, weekends or holidays. You will enjoy practicing in a modern facility with state-of-the-art technology, electronic medical records, and excellent team-oriented support to provide the best possible patient care.

This practice has a 1:1 provider to nurse ratio.
