Maine: A respected FQHC (community health center) with over 50 years of service seeks a skilled Dermatologist to join their expanding clinical team. With multiple practice sites across central and northern Maine, this nonprofit delivers primary care, urgent care, mental health, dentistry, podiatry, physical therapy, and more. This newly created Dermatology position was developed to address a significant local need for timely dermatologic care, serving individuals who often have no access to a dermatologist elsewhere.
The role focuses on outpatient medical dermatology for patients of all ages, including medical evaluation, treatment, and in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and simple excisions; cosmetic services are not expected. The dermatologist will rotate across two or three nearby practice sites to expand access and ensure continuity for patients who would otherwise face extended wait times or long travel distances for care.
This is a rare opportunity for a dermatologist to support a mission of expanding access for underserved communities, backed by a dedicated, caring clinical team and modern facilities committed to reducing barriers to care.
