Houlton, Maine: A respected critical access hospital in scenic Aroostook County seeks a skilled Gynecologist to join their Womens Health service. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position offering a rewarding mix of office-based and surgical gynecology, with no obstetrics. MD/DO equally welcome.

This modern rural medical center is focusing on GYN services following a strategic shift away from obstetrics. The incoming physician will join an experienced nursing and administrative team in an important role prioritizing womens health, continuity of care, and surgical excellence.

Enjoy a convenient 4-day work week with no call. You will provide a mix of outpatient procedures and OR cases, with autonomy and support, practicing in a modern clinical setting with a well-equipped surgical suite. Services will include such things as pap smears, colposcopy, IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, pessary care, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, LEEP, hysteroscopy, and both vaginal and abdominal ultrasound.

In the OR, procedures will include LEEP, hysteroscopy, laparoscopic tubal ligation, chromopertubation, total abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, mid-urethral sling placement, vaginal vault suspension, cystocele repair, uterine ablation, and D&C.You will earn a competitive salary with a cash sign-on bonus, paid relocation, and student loan assistance.
