Physician, Neurologist

Overview

Maine Health – Pen Bay Hospital has an immediate full-time opening for a board certified/eligible adult neurologist to join our well-established neurology division. The new team member will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned Neurologists in beautiful Coastal Maine. This primarily outpatient position shares an inpatient role among the group and requires a call schedule and includes tele-stroke backup. The patient panel is general adult Neurology in a demographic that is economically a diverse older population.

• Provide outpatient neurology care with inpatient responsibilities shared among the group.
• Participate in a call schedule and provide tele-stroke backup as needed.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced Neurologists and uphold patient-centered care.

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Board Certification/Eligibility
• Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• EMR experience preferred but not required.
