This facility in Maine seeks interventional cardiology coverage across both inpatient and clinic settings on an on-site basis. The facility maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support STEMI response and complex interventional cardiology procedures. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate day and night shift coverage throughout assigned coverage periods.

Maine offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. The state provides access to coastal landscapes, natural parks, and year-round recreational opportunities throughout the region. Clinicians may explore scenic areas, local communities, and seasonal attractions during their time on assignment.

The interventional cardiologist will provide coverage across inpatient and clinic settings Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, managing 16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include STEMI response and performance of complex and high-risk percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures as credentialed by the facility. Call requirements are negotiable and will be determined in coordination with facility leadership. Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required for consideration.
