Salary & Sign-On BonusStarting salary: $56,160 per year. Sign-on bonus: $5,000 paid in installments ($2,500 after 3 months, $2,500 after 6 months). Bonus applies to new hires.
Duties- Work with educational and clinical team to develop and deliver educational programming for students with significant emotional, behavioral, academic, and mental health needs.
- Implement CARE principles, deliver assessment tools, create lesson plans.
- Write IEPs, coordinate with clinical team.
- Supervise educational technicians.
- Manage TCI safety restraints, BHP, ISP, IEP tracking in a day treatment special education setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Maine State certification as Teacher of Exceptional Students (282) or Teacher of Students with Severe Intellectual and Associated Impairments (286), or eligibility for conditional certification.
