This is an on-site role based in Eliot, ME, for an Adult Services Librarian. The Adult Services Librarian will focus on the planning, development, and execution of library programs and services for the adult community. Responsibilities will include assisting patrons with library resources, conducting outreach initiatives, and providing exceptional customer service. Additional duties will involve creating and maintaining collections, organizing events, and fostering engagement with library materials and services.
This position is 32-40 hours per week.
Qualifications- Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in programming, event planning, or community engagement is advantageous
- Familiarity with library technology and digital resources is a plus
