We are looking for an energetic, student-centered educator to teach:

• Three blocks of 6th Grade Math
• One block of 6th Grade Social Studies

This position is perfect for someone who:

• Loves building strong relationships with students
• Can make learning engaging, active, and meaningful
• Understands that middle school students are equal parts hilarious, curious, and unpredictable
• Believes classrooms should be places where kids feel challenged, supported, and known

• Helping students tackle math concepts with confidence and perseverance
• Bringing history, geography, cultures, and current events to life
• Creating a classroom community where students feel safe taking academic risks
• Collaborating with a supportive and fun-loving 6th grade team
• Celebrating growth — both academic and personal
• Occasionally answering questions that have absolutely nothing to do with math or social studies

• Bachelor degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
