Saint Joseph's College of Maine is accepting applications for the position of Lead Camp Counselor for Track & Field Camp! This Camp is scheduled for July 7 - 10, 2026.

Duties & Responsibilities Associated with Position

Supervision and coordination of activities for the camp focused on Sprints and Jumps
Ensuring Student Camp Counselors are focused on campers and planned activities
Help campers plan and carry out projects and activities
Promote and encourage camper participation in activities
Enforce camp rules and regulations and ensures safety in the recreational facilities
Demonstrates use of recreational equipment and teaches participants the principles, techniques, and safety procedures for each activity
Work with camp staff to handle challenges with facilities, programs and campers
Help each participant meet the goals established by the camp for camper development
Encourage respect for personal property, camp equipment, and facilities

Required Knowledge/Skills:

Experience in working with adolescents in a group setting
Ability to learn and enforce the camp's safety and operating rules

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Current CPR/First Aid, AED certification
