The Lisbon School Department is seeking a dynamic educational leader to serve in the role of a School Counselor for the Lisbon Community School. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history of working at elementary level. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate within and among teams, the ability to establish positive relationships with students, the ability to establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a supportive learning environment, the ability to effectively work with small groups and individuals as needed and other school related tasks as requested by Administration as may be required for the efficient and effective operation of the building.
Requirements/ Experience
- Knowledge of and experience supporting individuals and/or small groups with ACES.
- A bachelor’s degree and Maine certification in Mental Health, Social Work, or Maine School Counseling (075), and CHRC approval.
