This position requires a K-6 or K-8 Certification (020) and Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check certifications.

We are looking for a 5th‑grade teacher to join our dynamic K-5 team and innovative school community beginning in the 2026/27 School Year.

The ideal candidate for this position will bring a passion for working with a diverse classroom of children, addressing their unique needs with care and dedication. This role involves close collaboration with grade‑span classroom teachers and special education teams, within a community school that champions innovation, fosters collaboration, builds strong community partnerships, and is deeply committed to the success and well‑being of every child.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of current literacy and numeracy learning and experience or knowledge of upper elementary curriculum. Additionally, strong classroom management skills and experience with differentiating curriculum and developmental expectations are required.
