Certification Requirements- Citizenship, residency, or work visa
- Maine State Teaching Certification #300 (7‑12 Mathematics)
- Maine Department of Education CHRC (Criminal History Record Check)
- Extensive knowledge of the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics
- Deep understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and share best practices
- Demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous, relevant, and engaging math instruction to students of varying abilities
- Collaborates with parents, teachers, administrators, community leaders and other stakeholders to promote and support student success
- Experience and demonstrated success teaching a variety of mathematics courses
- Ability to integrate technology to enhance instruction
- Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom
