Multi-Age Support Teacher with After Care Role
38 hours per week, benefits included.
We seek a middle school and preschool classroom support teacher and After Care staff member who is experienced with children of all ages and is particularly excited to build relationships with our oldest (5th-8th grades) and youngest (preschool) students. We welcome candidates who bring flexibility, creativity, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach to working with children. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, significant experience with children working in a group setting, and a willingness to collaborate with lead teachers to support children throughout the school.
This role is Monday through Friday, and the hours each day may vary. Though we are clear that the role will go until 5 pm each day, start times will likely look different throughout the week.
Job responsibilities will include:
- Support students with class routines and expectations
- Provide breaks for and substitute for the teacher when needed
- Supervise lunch and recess
- Prepare materials as assigned by the lead teacher
- Lead a middle school elective
- Engage in special projects related to their professional goals or interests
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play during After Care
- Offer indoor options after school, which include a quiet study hall time, time to play board games, make art and crafts projects, or take part in organized gross motor activities.

Position: 38 hours per week, with benefits included (health insurance, short term disability, life insurance, and 401K match).
Salary Range: $35,000-$39,000. This salary range represents the expected annual salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your education level, experience, and other job-related factors.
