The following position is available the start of the 2026-27 school year.
HAMPDEN ACADEMY Special Education TeacherManage a resource room setting that provides support for students with their IEP goals, regular education classes, and executive function skills. Teach resource room classes in core academics. Collaborate with educational technicians and service providers.
QualificationsStrong background and experience with special education instruction and services. Proven abilities to use data-driven instruction and differentiation within the classroom to maximize student achievement and meet student need. Effective communication skills both within school and externally with families. Collaborative skills including working with colleagues.
CertificationAppropriate Maine Certification, CHRC required.
