Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Educational Technician to join our team and provide support to students with academic needs. In this role, you will assist in the classroom setting by supporting students with their academic and functional progress as impacted by skills deficits. Responsibilities may include supporting academic progress, reteaching, and working closely with teachers to ensure students' success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with accessing and making progress in the general education curriculum.
  • Assist students with executive functioning skills such as task initiation, task completion, movement breaks, and emotional regulation.
  • Help students stay engaged in classroom activities and provide academic support as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized learning and care plans.

Job Requirements
  • MDOE Educational Technician Certification - required
  • MDOE Fingerprinting and Background check - required
  • CNA certification - preferred
  • Experience in education, preferably with children - preferred
  • Ability to provide instructional support in an educational environment - preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills - preferred
  • At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
