Position Type: Part-time

Compensation: $32 per hour (non‑benefitted)

Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week for 45 weeks between July 1 and June 30.

Seeking a part‑time Adult Education Instructor, with an emphasis on mathematics. The role will involve delivering curriculum from basic literacy levels through high school completion and college preparation, and may include day and some evening hours. The position is based in Naples and includes some regular hours in Fryeburg.

• Develop and deliver math curriculum for adult learners.
• Collaborate with staff and teachers to provide an optimal learning experience for learners with diverse needs and backgrounds.
• Provide instruction in multiple academic areas as appropriate.

• Eligibility for a Maine teaching credential.
• Preferred:
  Experience teaching academic subjects to adult learners.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with content standards and proficiency‑based instruction.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of modern office technology, learning management systems, and student information systems.
• Self‑driven, positive, creative, systems thinker, and passionate about education.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
