Charles M. Sumner Learning Campus is located in beautiful Sullivan, Maine. The campus is approximately 15 minutes east of Ellsworth, the county seat of Hancock County, and 40 miles east of Bangor. It is also a short drive to Bar Harbor and the beautiful Acadia National Park. The campus hosts Sumner Middle School and Sumner Memorial High School, with a total student population of about 400 students in grades 6 through 12.

This position is for Sumner Memorial High School.

We are seeking a high school Science teacher who is collaborative and team-oriented. Candidates should have a solid understanding of instruction and best practices to enhance science learning. The successful candidate will hold or be able to hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification: 350 (Physical Science) and/or 395 (Life Science). In addition, they must hold a current MDOE Criminal History Records Check.
