This is an opening for a qualified World Language Teacher capable of teaching all levels of French, Spanish, German or other world languages. Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding and knowledge of teaching high school aged students with a vast range of skills allowing them to adapt to a wide range of students, their abilities, and ages. This teacher must be one of rigor, flexibility, creativity, and interpersonal skills as well.

• Prior successful experience as a high school level World Language teacher or student teaching experience
• Experience in building positive relationships with students and supporting student success
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
• Knowledge in differentiating instruction to meet the various needs of all learners

• Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education experience working with students with social and emotional challenges preferred.
• BA / Master’s preferred
• Must hold or be eligible for State of Maine Teaching Certification
